### NEA-hosted Hongqiao Forum hydrogen sub-forum: renewable hydrogen capacity exceeds 350,000 t/y

On November 5, the sub-forum "High-quality Hydrogen Development Promoting Global Energy Transition" of the 9th Hongqiao International Economic Forum was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. The forum disclosed that China's installed renewable hydrogen production capacity has exceeded 350,000 tonnes per year, and green ammonia and methanol capacity exceeds 1.3 million tonnes per year; the 15th Five-Year Plan for the new energy system targets 2 million tonnes of renewable hydrogen by 2030. The forum released the "China Hydrogen and Green Fuel Pilot Cases (2026)" and the English edition of the "China Hydrogen Development Report (2026)".

### Anti-corrosion coatings branch committee meeting held in Qingdao with 40+ delegates

On October 19, the committee working meeting of the Anti-corrosion Coatings Branch of the China Coatings Industry Association was held in Qingdao, Shandong, with more than 40 delegates attending. Participants reviewed the branch's work over the past year, assessed industry trends, and exchanged views on technical requirements from shipbuilding, marine engineering and petrochemical downstream sectors. Anti-corrosion coatings production involves resin synthesis and grinding-dispersion processes, which place high demands on the corrosion resistance and dispersion fineness of jacketed reactors, sand mills and high-speed dispersers.

### 2026 Smart Agriculture Expo opens in Nanning with nearly 1,000 new products

On October 23, the 2026 Smart Agriculture Expo opened at the Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center in Guangxi under the theme "Smart Agriculture, Digital Rural Areas". The expo featured three core sections — intelligent equipment, "AI+" agricultural services and digital villages — with more than 100 companies from the United States, Germany, Israel, ASEAN and other countries and regions exhibiting nearly 1,000 new technologies and products. It invited 100 professional buyer delegations from 20 countries and regions, with expected attendance of nearly 20,000 visits. ### Three shows in one: CLEAN Americas Week opens in Dallas next week

From November 9 to 11, CLEAN Americas Week will take place in Dallas, Texas. For the first time, the event combines the three legacy environmental-response shows CLEAN Gulf, CLEAN Waterways and CLEAN Pacific, focusing on environmental response and resilience across the Americas, with a technical program and an exhibit hall of more than 80 exhibitors hosting live demonstrations. Exhibits cover industrial oil recovery and waterway cleanup equipment, such as drum skimmers that recover light and heavy oils with a water content of only 2–3%, and utility workboats for wetlands and industrial waterways.
